Daryl grew up in Waterloo, Ontario where he earned his BASc in Mechatronics Engineering. After working in a variety of fields including management consulting, biomedical engineering, automotive engineering, and computer science, he decided to pursue his true calling in the healthcare field. Daryl attended paramedic school at Humber College prior to medical school at WSU, which driven his interest in the emergency field. His interests include writing music, snowboarding, rock climbing, and photography.
Evan was raised in Commerce Township, MI. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI. After graduating. Evan spent time as both a certified nurse aide in a local nursing home and as an Emergency Department Scribe at Mercy Health St. Mary’s of Grand Rapids. It was there at he cultivated an interest in emergency medicine which continues to this day. In his free time, he enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy novels, volunteering at local clinics, and drinking craft beer with his fiancee.
Keith is a Michigan native, growing up down the street in Dearborn Heights. He completed his bachelors in biopsychology at the University of Michigan, with a minor in medical anthropology. In addition to EMIG, Keith is involved in organizing Red Cross blood drives on campus, and volunteers with FitKids and Street Medicine. He was drawn to EM through his experience with the Red Cross’ Event Medical Services in college and his continued work as an emergency medical technician (EMT) with a downriver ambulance service. Outside of medicine, Keith enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
